Game 1 Between the Bulls and Heat Recap

Somehow, the Bulls pulled an ace out of the hat by beating the Heat 93 to 86! The star of the game was unquestionably Nate Robinson, a third-string point guard. Even though he is less than 6 feet tall, he still managed to score 27 points and get 9 assists! What was the biggest shocker from this point guard is that he did a head on collision with MVP LeBron James, and got a bloody gash from it. Still, has spirit was unbreakable. During halftime, he got 10 stitches from the team doctor, and kept on playing.

Of course, it wasn't all Robinson. It couldn't be with the Heat's famed Big Three. Jimmy Butler scored 21 points, and Noah, Gibson, and Marco scored double digits as well.

Even if the Bulls don't win this series, this game will always be remembered!

Spurs

The #2 seed Spurs have been unbeatable this playoffs. In the 1st round the Spurs swept the struggling Lakers. They were beating the Lakers by about 18.75 points per game. Last night they played the red hot Warriors at home. The Spurs were trailing at the end of the 3rd but had a huge 4th quarter to send the game into overtime. In the first overtime neither team could pull ahead. In the second overtime the Spurs hit big shots down the stretch giving them a 129-127 game 1 win. Still think they're the #2 seed? I don't. The Heat lost last night making the Spurs the only team that have not lost in the playoffs yet. And with Westbrook out for the Thunder, I belive they are #1.

Why the One Guy Chose Other Than King James for MVP

In the vote for the MVP in the NBA, LeBron James took home the trophy, as usual. But he was one vote short of an unanimous decision between 120 sports sportswriters and broadcasters, which would of made history. Instead of James, that one sportswriter, Gary Washburn, picked Carmelo Anthony. He defended his vote by saying he felt that Carmelo Anthony lifted the Knicks to new heights this season-a No.2 seed and their first division title in 19 years- with an aging roster, the team's second-best player [Amar's Stoudemire] out most of the season and a myriad of other injuries.

Anthony said in a statement that he appreciates the vote, and it will boost his confidence.

In my opinion, I agree with Washburn's pick, because Anthony had to step up. On the other hand, James just played amazingly well as usual, which is nothing new.

Pacers!

The Pacers continued thier suprising season winning the round 1 series in 6 games 4-2. They moved on to the second round having to play the Knicks. They split the regular season series with the Knicks 2-2. In game 1 the Pacers got down in the first quarter but had a huge 2nd and 3rd quarter outscoring the Knicks 30-19 in the second and 29-19 in the 3rd. The Knicks played well in the 4th but it wasn't enough, the Pacers took game 102-95 in New York. Despite the game 1 win, the majority of the experts think the Knicks will win the series. I belive the Pacers have less pressure than the Knicks being the lower seed and seeing how well they played in New York I think the Pacers will win the series in 5 games.

Thunder Rolling without Westbrook

Even though The Thunder lost Westbrook during the opening series against the Rockets they were still able to win the series 4-2. Last night the Thunder played the Grizzles in round 2 at home. The Thunder started the game with poor shooting in the 1st and  costly turnovers in the 3rd giving the Grizzles a 70-64 lead going into the 4th quarter. But the Thunder rallied with the fans behind them and outscored the Grizzles 29-18 in the 4th giving them a 93-91 victory. Although the Thunder won game 1, in a survey 14 of 16 experts are picking the Grizzles to win the series. Even though the Grizzles have dominated the regular season series the Thunder played well last night and I belive they Will win the series in 6 games.

Game 6 and 7 Recap Between the Bulls and Nets

Game 6 ended by the Nets barely beating the Bulls and staying alive with a score of 95 to 92. But, this was partly due to due to all of the tough breaks the Bulls are sustaining. In my opinion, I don't agree with all the people that say that you shouldn't discredit the Nets. I mean, if the Bulls still had Derrick Rose out there, (who is out because of a torn ACL), this game series would all ready be over. Don't get me wrong, the Nets are a good team, but I'm just saying that the Bulls could be so much better if there players were not injured. Other players that are injured include center Joakim Noah, who has an injured right foot, guard Kirk Hinrich, who has a badly bruised calf, Luol Deng and Taj Gibson, who have the flu, and Nate Robinson was seen getting sick on the Bulls bench during the game

Even with all the injuries, the Bulls beat the Nets 99 to 93, sending them home. The Bulls were lead by Noah, even though he had the injured right foot. The Bulls will now have to play the Heat.

Warriors Rise to the Occasion

Last night the #6 seed Warriors surged past the #3 seed Nuggets. The Warriors held on to their lead down the stretch with big shots from Stephen Curry from beyond the arch. Stephen Curry lead the Warriors with 22 points. The Nuggets looked like they would continue to destroy competition in game 1 with a 97-95 victory. But that all changed in game 2. The Warriors easily got past the Nuggets 131-117 and that continued in games 3 an 4. The Nuggets stepped it up in game 5 but you have to win 4 games to advance. The Warriors won the serries 4-2. Can the Warriors beat the Spurs? Can Stephen Curry lead the Warriors all the way to a championship? With the way they played against the Nuggets, we may be suprised.
